Summer travel allows players interested in a more focused and increased competitive experience within softball. Following tryouts, players are placed on teams based on skill. Depending on total number of players and skill, two teams per age division will be created to ensure a healthier and more competitive experience. Summer is designed to further develop players’ skills, provide a competitive experience, and allow for competition among teams from other towns, as well as tournaments throughout the NJ area. Summer teams are based on birthdates that are put forth by the American Softball Association (ASA) and the United States of America (USA) Softball rules committee.
