West Orange United FC Spring 2019 - 2011/2012 Girls Courage - BY INVITATION ONLY

Welcome to the newly-formed 2011/2012 girls Courage team!

Below is some basic information about the travel soccer program, including the steps you will need to take to accept this position. If your child will not be accepting this invitation we would appreciate your letting us know ASAP to help us plan.

The Registration Fee for the spring season is $425, payable as follows: $125 non-refundable deposit due upon registration (by December 17th); $150 due by January 15, 2019; and $150 due by February 15, 2019. New players will also be required to purchase practice and game uniforms, at a cost of approximately $140.

The spring season consists of approximately 12 weeks of twice-weekly practices run by a professional coach, and a season (8-10 games) of league play. Atlas will play in the Northern Counties league. Spring practices will start in mid-March, and league play will begin Sunday, March 24. The practice schedule will be finalized in February, but Courage will practice either Mon/Wed or Tue/Thur from 6-7:20 pm at West Orange High School. Games will be played on Sundays, with the exception of Easter Sunday and Memorial Day Weekend, generally between 9 am and 6 pm. Make-up games may be on Saturdays. The league will release the schedule in mid-March. Players are expected to attend all practices and games.

TO ACCEPT THIS INVITATION, please register your player for the Courage team and make the initial $125 payment by clicking on the Register Now button at the bottom of this page. You will receive an email confirmation upon successful completion of the registration process. If you do not receive a confirmation, please return to the site to complete your registration. Please register by December 17 to reserve your child's spot.

All payments must be made through the Mountain Top website by the dates indicated above. Players with past due balances as of the start of the spring season will not be permitted to practice or play until full payment is received or other payment arrangements are made. Limited financial aid is available on a confidential basis. LEAGUE PAPERWORK: In order to register your player with the league, we need the below paperwork. Please send these items ASAP.

1) US Club Soccer Youth Player Registration Form - attached to the email inviting your player and also available on the MTL website under "Forms" (Note that the form requires the player's signature as well as a parent's.) 2) Copy of birth certificate or passport - Please provide clear and legible copies as the league has to age-verify all players. 3) Photo (headshot) for player pass (A photo taken with your phone is fine. We can crop the photo but it must show your child’s face clearly, with no hat, sunglasses, etc.)

Please email (pdf’s of US Club Form and birth certificate; jpg of photo) to woufcregistrar@gmail.com If you are not able to email any or all of these items, please mail or deliver hard copies to Jennifer Buesser, 82 Lawrence Avenue, West Orange (if you mail or deliver please text 917-771-2060 to let me know to look out for your items).

WINTER FUTSAL: Registration for our optional winter futsal program is open. The program will run from the first week in January through mid-March at the St. Joseph's Church gym in West Orange, and the cost is $135 per player. Openings are limited in each age group. NOTE: Courage is tentatively scheduled to play from 6-7 pm on Thursday nights but the schedule will be confirmed in late December. Each session runs for one hour and includes training with one of our professional coaches followed by games. To To register your player, return to the "Programs" tab.

UNIFORMS: New players are required to purchase practice and game uniforms, at a cost of approximately $140. You will be able to order your uniform online in January. Further information will be provided as soon as it's available.

PARENT MANAGER: We will need a parent manager for the Courage team. The parent manager handles team communication, some scheduling and other administrative matters. He/she does not need to attend practices but ideally would be at most or all games. The time commitment is approx. 1-2 hours per week, excluding game time. It's a great way to get involved with your child's team and help make it a great season for all! Please email us if you are able to volunteer.

SIBLING DISCOUNT: $25 discount for each additional child registered in the WO United Travel Soccer. After registering the children and completing the total spring payment, please email our Treasurer, Anne-Sophie Whitehead, at mtl.treasurer@gmail.com. Anne-Sophie will verify/process the refund check.
