IMPORTANT INFO. FOR PARENTS:
• Teams practice two evenings per week and play games each weekend. Spring practices will begin in mid-March. Travel for games ranges from 10 minutes (Livingston) to over one hour (south Jersey), with the average being about 40 minutes. Players are expected to attend all practices and games. New players will also be invited to participate in our optional indoor futsal program during January and February (additional cost).
• The fee for players accepted for the spring 2019 season is $425, due in three installments beginning upon acceptance of a roster position. Limited financial aid is available by application. New players will also be required to purchase a uniform, at an additional cost of approximately $140.
• WOUFC follows a player development model. Each year teams are formed based on age and coaches’ evaluation to provide the best possible environment for each player to develop his/her skills and understanding of the game. Team placement is not permanent and may change from year to year and occasionally season to season.
• Travel soccer requires a serious commitment of time and effort from both players and families, and is also a significant financial commitment. It is not the right fit for every player or family. Those not invited to join a team or not comfortable making the required commitment at this time are strongly encouraged to continue their development through Mountain Top’s excellent in-town soccer programs. Registration for the spring session will open in early 2020.
